Every time the travelling show of protestors reach a town.
The police have been practicing for month on end. During this training period the police devide themselves into two groups. On part is playing the protestors and the other is playing the police.
The group enacting protestors chant your songs of peaceful protest, while the "police" immune themselves from your natural vocal reaction to the injustice of arrests, they put on a play where lines and movements are carefully planned down to the smallest detail.
Come protest day. the "real" protestors then inact a well planned play without them knowing it.
They chant their songs of peaceful protests, they react in the way that the play will have them react. Thus making the inactment of the authoritys play a great succes every time.
This goes only for the so-called peaceful protesters, as the hit and run squads of brave black dressed unproffesioned intellectuals. As they have seen this play, and wishes not to take part in it.
The standard critique on this is that the block is just as expected as the peaceful protesters. But the truth is that the the black tactic is well out of the control of the playmakers, they write their own play, and the inactment is the message in itself.
As with grafitti writing on the wall. you may not get the message wtitten. But it is still the message that a wall can be used to write on...
And if you truely acknowledge the dier need for a changing world. And not just from the high western horses viewpoint, but from the parts of the world where it means life or death for millions of people. Then broken windows is a very humble medium, but nevertheless a message send..
